Three Elements {An Apple A Day}

I always love the incorporation of fruit into a wedding's decor, and fall is a perfect time to put apples to work.

I absolutely loved the table trends that Chelsea Fuss created for Once Wed last week; the arrangements were simply beautiful. The first inspiration board this week incorporates a few of those images. While the first board features a color palette that could work easily in spring and summer, the second board is quite decidedly inspired by fall.

The three elements incorporated in "An Apple A Day" are an orchard setting, apple pie, and the use of apples as part of the decor.

I love both of those boards. Apples are so great as decoration and inspiration. I love the colors of all the different kinds of apples.

Lovely, lovely! I'm all about shapes--in number two, the tiers of the skirt with the gallette, so nice!

my guest favors were Granny Smith (my maiden name was Smith - not of the apple fame, sadly) apples dipped in chocolate and some were coated with nuts. So delish. I actually had people upset we didn't have enough for people to take 2! My cousin-in-law made them all for us and they added such a sweet touch.

Rebecca- I love that photo too and had been waiting for fall to post a board featuring it!

Courtney- those are favors I would have loved too; they sound delicious! How sweet that they were made by your cousin-in-law also- such a perfect personal touch.
