KH Antiques via Bond & Bowery
I would love to have the file drawer coffee table from Empiric or the 8 Door Steel Locker from River Stone! Oh, but who am I kidding? I would love to have any of these pieces grace my home with their presence. Dear Santa, if you are reading, I promise I've been good this year.
And if you haven't yet visited Bond & Bowery, it is certainly worth a look (or few!) Their website is full of beautiful furnishings and art from dealers around the country, and it is incredibly easy to navigate and search.

I love the first piece. I've been looking for a piece like that to store Lillie's 1000's of art pieces from school. Great!
oh, I love the first one with the mirrored top! Those lockers are so fun too--would be cool to have in the mud room.
the first one is amazing, the mirror top adds a bit of glamour to it as well! i can also see myself spreading my stuff over that massive desk too!
off to explore the site, thanks for the great link Courtney!
COURTNEY! How did I miss this map week and your obsession with all things industrial! I must have been still hiding under my rock!
I think we have such similar tastes we should be best friends ... will be adding you to my blog roll and reading your blog from start to finish in my lunch break!
Happy day when I find a new lovely xxx
i love the look of industrial things....especially when they have wheels on them...
Thanks everyone! The flat files are crowd pleasers and we have been successfully re-purposing them as coffee tables for half a decade. The cooler version we do has a display top. We make it by cutting the top off of a standard flat file and replacing it with glass so the top drawer serves as a curio cabinet for art.
Great Blog!
Wicked cool!
These are GORGEOUS! They remind me of when my mom and I used to stake out the surplus furniture at the university where she works...they always had the best stuff! For years I had an old card catalogue in my room (which wasn't as cool as it sounds as those tiny drawers are pretty useless!)
I love those last two tables...how great would they be as mobile worktops in a massive kitchen?
Kate- that would be such a perfect piece in which to store Lillie's art.
Blair- The lockers would be great in a mudroom.
Tina- With a massive desk, I would surely have things spread all over too!
Emma- Yay! Thanks for your sweet words and for adding me to your blogroll. And I always love adding new best friends to my life- so, which half of the necklace would you like ;)
Pink Wallpaper- Wheels do make a piece even more fun!
Annie- Thank you for visiting! Now, I am dying to see both pieces in person (the curio cabinet top sounds amazing!) Next time I'm in LA...
Stephanie- :) Wicked cool.
Anne- I want to stake out surplus furniture with you all! Sounds amazing. And really? The card catalogue wasn't as cool to own as it sounds?? This is rather crushing news. I've always thought it could be great to have one for sewing supplies... :)
Map cabinets and blueprint cabinets make me swoon.
