To Break Bread

When I was growing up, I loved sharing dinner with my family while sitting outside in the warm evening air, and I still feel the same way now. It is something I always look forward to when the weather gets warm and the days get longer, which is why enjoying meals outdoors with family and friends makes the list of my favorite things about summer.

  1. That really looks fantastic. I think that is one of the things I look forward to as well about the summer - the ability to eat outdoors and just let the food and the conversations just linger on and on until the bugs come out! I hope you manage to have many days such as these with your family and friends. It really makes your summer.

  2. I recently purchased a round cafe table to go with my cafe chairs. It has become the meeting / eating place for breakfast, & dinner by all. Everyone loves being able to sit outside to eat and discuss their day.
    Have a good weekend,
    Leslie

  4. Eating outdoors is the by far one of the greatest pleasures in life (for me!). I yearn to live somewhere that I can do it all year long instead of 3 months of the year! Beautiful post.

  6. perfect photos!
I have already started day dreaming about having parties like this during the summer. I have menus planned based on what I think will be coming out of the garden, guest lists worked out, and even have ideas about what I'll wear.
I know that sounds a little weird, but summer is short here in Michigan, we've got to enjoy it while we can!

    have a wonderful weekend Courtney!
