Girls In White Dresses

I am not sure where Spring went this year, but it certainly flew by quickly! It's hard to believe that June is already upon us.

Since June signifies the start of summer to me, this week I wanted to take a look at some of my favorite things about the season, and nothing says summer quite like a white dress.

    Lush, plush makes me want to rush out & add a bit of the blanc to my dress rack, but lo & behold, no, no, no, for as much of a delight it is to wear white, I must confess, I always make mess on my lovely white dress.

    I must admit to being a girl in white dresses ... . every summer.
    It's a simple mode of dress:

    Black for Winter
    White for Summer

    No fuss.

    I too used to wear white dresses all summer. When I moved to the farm, I still tried and realized my white dresses became stained white dresses. I would become impaled and plastered to the wild blackberries and so my stained white dresses also became riddled with little tears.

    White dresses are beautiful for summer. I recently bought a white floaty sun dress from a charity shop for a fiver, and can't wait for summer to wear it!
