The white clapboard walls, in the rooms above, convey a sense of a slower-paced life, a feeling that practically begs you to breathe easier. The bedroom below feels more urban than the other spaces, but it still has the same relaxing appearance.
Paul Whicheloe PhotographyWhat do you think of these very neutral rooms? Could you live in one all the time or would you prefer such a space only for a temporary escape?
I love the look and feel of simple. But I don't think I could live day to day with so little color. I positively love the stairwell!
ReplyDeleteOh that stairwell! Yum. I happen to love muted and neutral and live in it very happily. Don't get me wrong, I love to look at color, but it winds me up too much to live in it! haha.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!

what beautiful places!! i'd love to read my books there :)
ReplyDeleteLove the stairs, that has a huge wow factor. I love them, but they all feel like they are missing the artwork to me. So I love those neutral rooms, but only as a backdrop to some spectacular color drenched artwork! But keeping a room neural allows a quick switch of colorful accents and suddenly everything looks completely different. Love that!
ReplyDeleteEscape for me. I love the calm it gives off but once Im deeply relaxed that pesky type A pops up again.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Sunday Courtney. I loved your story. Remember next time you play take along your hubby but steer clear of the typical Texas thunderboomers!!
Hi Courtney, these are beautiful pictures. Very serene, peaceful, inspiring! x Jayne
ReplyDeletethat stairway is AMAZING. i love these shots - reminds me why i hate color haha. just kidding, but kind of not :)
ReplyDeleteSuch stunning and calming colours x
ReplyDeleteOh, I could definitely live in them all at one time. So beautiful and breezy.
ReplyDeletei waffle back and forth between wanting really neutral rooms and really colorful ones.
ReplyDeletelately I'd been leaning toward color, but these rooms have me rethinking.
love.love.love.
ReplyDeleteno color needed here.
