I love the first piece. I've been looking for a piece like that to store Lillie's 1000's of art pieces from school. Great!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! The flat files are crowd pleasers and we have been successfully re-purposing them as coffee tables for half a decade. The cooler version we do has a display top. We make it by cutting the top off of a standard flat file and replacing it with glass so the top drawer serves as a curio cabinet for art.

ReplyDeleteThese are GORGEOUS! They remind me of when my mom and I used to stake out the surplus furniture at the university where she works...they always had the best stuff! For years I had an old card catalogue in my room (which wasn't as cool as it sounds as those tiny drawers are pretty useless!)
