In my former life as a Flight attendant, one of the things I loved most about my job was witnessing all the scenarios portrayed in that video, everyday, in every airport I traveled. Because love is universal.
Apparently I am having an emotional day because this made me cry. Like have to redo my makeup cry. The first part of our relationship my now husband was in Mississippi and I was in Vail for many months and I can't think of the Denver airport without getting misty, I love the arrivals area.
I love this movie too, I may to watch it again this weekend.
Oh, I am glad that everyone loves this clip (movie) as much as I do.
Anya- Thanks for stopping by!
Vicki- They really are the best.
Treacy- What a beautiful thing to have witnessed every day and what a beautiful way you have stated it.
Kimberlee- It was an incredibly good movie if you ask me too.
Stephanie- the heart photo collage is great!
Summer- I so hear you on Hugh Grant's voice!
Haven and Home & Blair- I got a little emotional watching this too. Goosebumps for sure.
And Haven- awww. Sorry for the having to redo the makeup cry! I do actually understand that feeling (you have about the Denver airport) because E and I dated long distance too. I have such a fondness for the Austin airport and even more so the small airport near where we lived (the place we just moved from- he was there while we were dating.)
I love this scene. It never fails: I always get teary eyed. If you're ever feeling down and have a couple hours to kill, sit in the "Arrivals" section of your airport. It's the best place to people watch.
On the other hand, airports are bittersweet: my boyfriend and I just moved in together for the first time. 3 of the 4 years of our relationship was spent apart and we had many sad goodbyes in airports.
I've worked in wedding and event floral design for the past five years, but as my husband is in the midst of a career change, so might I find am I.
Regardless of what path we end up taking, this blog will serve as my outlet for all things creative- home interiors, weddings, fashion, etc.
